Make your wander that bit wilder with the Wilder Wander App. The Wilder Wander App turns the great outdoors into a virtual classroom with activity-based games/tours powered by scientific data on biodiversity, space, oceans, geology, weather patterns and even human heritage. Identify species by sounds and images, learn about what lives nearby depending on the season through quizzes and competitions, find out the history of an area through the words of a local expert.

The App’s location-based games and tours (which we call WONDERS!) are great for all ages and help to inform people about an area and are useful to signpost walking, cycling or driving trails. The App can be used offline, useful when visiting those remote locations. Just preload the WONDERS you are interested in while you have a connection and start them once you get to the site of use. Everything will work from the App while you are offline (e.g. maps, quizzes) if preloaded. You can also pause the WONDER and restart it later.
